A new technique for reconstructing the non-minimum phase function from magnitude-only data is presented in this paper. The non-minimum phase is reconstructed by utilizing the fact that the DFT of the square of magnitude response is equal to the auto-correlation of time domain sequence. An all-pass filter representation is also used to reduce the computational load. This approach is applied to the synthesis of non-minimum phase functions from the magnitude only antenna pattern. Several examples dealing with a single antenna and antenna arrays are simulated to illustrate the applicability of this approach.
